The Golden Lamb, Ohio's Oldest Inn
Ohio's oldest hotel is located about one mile from the Shaker Inn. For over 200 years, the Golden Lamb Inn has been a hub of activity for early travelers, including a dozen Presidents. Having just celebrated their bicentennial, Lebanon is full of history. Harness Racing at the Lebanon Raceway
On route 48 just north of downtown Lebanon, treat yourself to the thrilling action of harness racing at the Lebanon Raceway. Racing is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with Post Time at 7:20. Details.
The Dude Ranch

Caesar Creek State Park & Lake
In Waynesville, off State Route 73. Enjoy fishing, boating, camping, picnicing and swimming at Caesar Creek State Park. See lovingly reconstructed historical structures in Caesar Creek Pioneer Village with interactive exhibits and artifacts. Details.
Fort Ancient State Memorial
Fort Ancient is the site of the second largest Indian burial mound site in the nation. The fort-like walls of stone and clay were constructed between 300 B.C. and 600 A.D. by the Hopewell People.The park is open daily May 1 to October 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fort Ancient is seven miles southeast of Lebanon, in Warren County, on State Route 350. United States Air Force Museum
Wright Patterson Airforce base in Dayton boasts the US Air Force Museum. The museum cronicals the history of flight showcasing aircraft including the 1909 Wright flyer as well as modern and space vehicles. The museum is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. Details.
Cincinnati Zoo
This 75 acre park and botanical garden is only minutes away off I-75. Opened in 1875, the Cincinnati Zoo is now ranked among the top zoos in the country with over 500 animal species and over 3,000 plant varieties. In addition to being a great warm-weather destination, the zoo's beautiful holiday festival of lights makes the park a winter wonderland as well. Details.
Cincinnati Reds Baseball
Visit the Red's brand new Great American Ballpark for a memorable outing with the whole family. The ballpark is on the Ohio riverfront accessible from I-71 or I-75 south of the Shaker Inn.
